DataWeb Selected by Sonoma County Ad Agency

DataWeb has been selected by a Sonoma County advertising company to build a new web based application using the Microsoft TAG technology. DataWeb welcomes the opportunity to assist in the design and development of a business application that will allow consumers to quickly download information on particular wines to their cell phones.

Microsoft TAGS are small colorful codes that can be printed or displayed, either on the wine bottle or a retail display. When a consumer “snaps” the TAB with the camera on their internet-enabled phone, this additional information or experiences will automatically be opened up on their phone. There is no fumbling around with URLs or texting messages. DataWeb has all sorts of plans to expand this business into the print world or even onto magazine articles or exhibit signage. If you have an idea for TAGS; we encourage you to give us a call and see how we might work together to put your idea into the marketplace on the DataWeb Platform.

360 evaluation

The process is rather simple but yields actionable results. Department managers select a number of individuals to become Evaluators. These Evaluators are then assigned a number of employees to answer specific performance related questions. The idea behind this process is to identify potential problem areas that can be helpful in designing training programs. This 360 evaluation can be important step towards a continuous improvement  program for any organization.
